| Course Description | Characteristics of major red wine grape varieties; principles and practices of red wine production; major red wine styles of the world; red wine faults; techniques for grapevine improvement and biotechnology, as applied to the wine industry; wine packaging, bottling operations and quality standards; sensory science.
