| Course Description | This course contains three broad topic areas: Viticulture, Oenology and Sensory Evaluation. The course aims to provide students with an understanding of basic viticultural, oenological and sensory principles, such as the life cycle and growth of the grapevine, the unit operations involved in winemaking, and the theory and practice of sensory evaluation of wine. The knowledge gained in this course will lay the foundation for subsequent courses within the Wine Business program. | ||
