The Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) provides a strong background in mathematics and physics as well as practical experience in the design and operation of electrical, electronic and software systems. The academic program embraces telecommunications, control systems, antenna design, signal processing, microprocessors, VLSI chip design, energy systems, and electrical machines and drives. It develops written and oral communication skills, and familiarity with project management and quality control techniques.
The study of economics at the University of Adelaide will help you understand how a market economy works. It will also help you to develop other important employment skills - critical and logical thinking, evaluation of argument and evidence, knowing where and how to find information, working with initiative and in teams, and communicating both orally and in writing. These are the skills that employers constantly say they look for in graduates.
