  • Program Outline

    The University of Adelaide's Graduate Certificate in Online Learning (Higher Education) is an initiative to promote excellence in university teaching. It is presented within the Centre for Learning and Professional Development, with the award being conferred by the University's School of Education in the Faculty of the Professions.

    The aim of the program is to assist staff in further developing their expertise in the field of online learning and teaching practice and research. The program is valued by the University and successful completion will indicate a commitment to excellence in teaching.

    The Graduate Certificate is comprised of four 3 unit courses which include:

    • ICT Literacy in Higher Education
    • Online Learning Design, Assessment & Evaluation
    • Online Learning Communities
    • The Changing Nature of Educational Research

    Each of these courses will be undertaken completely online.

    Please note: the Graduate Certificate is only offered part-time over four semesters.
