Aerospace Engineering concerns the development and use of new technologies and materials that are relevant to any high-tech industries including the aerospace industry. The coursework covers aerospace engineering courses such as high-tech materials, aeronautics, space science and astrophysics and space vehicle design, aerospace propulsion, hypersonic aerodynamics, astrophysics and guidance and control.
This program offers candidates the chance to specialise in cutting-edge technologies aligned to their career pathways. It is suitable for engineering graduates with Honours who wish to pursue further studies, as well as engineers with relevant work experience. Successful candidates may articulate to the Master of Engineering (Advanced).
This 24-unit program includes 9 units of core courses comprising statistics, system modelling, and management and is designed to provide generic skills applicable across all fields of engineering. The remaining 15 units are discipline specific courses providing additional technical material at a level beyond that of a first engineering degree.
