Project management has steadily increased in use in organisations dedicated to delivering projects, such as mining, defence, IT, manufacturing and construction. It is also used to assist in the delivery of internal development programs, such as marketing, improving internal systems and developing staff. Traditional corporate management does not usually deliver specific outcomes as well as project based management. This program is distinctive in delivering tools and techniques to participants to assist them in their own workplace. Graduates come away with real work-based skills.
Courses have been structured by academics, working with practitioners, who understand the theoretical structuring of the course, and the appropriate supporting research.
This 48 unit program is comprised of 18 units of core courses, 18 units of elective courses and a 12 unit project.
