The program aims to stimulate students to think creatively about the the social, cultural, economic and environmental determinants of health and illness in populations and about the organisation and delivery of public health services, including policies and practices that support and improve the health of people.
Our awards are well known to the South Australian Department of Health, the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, as well as the Public Health Association of Australia, the Faculty of Public Health Medicine and other relevant public health bodies.
The Graduate Certificate consists of coursework and can be completed in one semester of full-time or two semesters of part-time study.
Students complete 2 core courses in Public Health and 2 elective courses in thematic areas in Public Health.
