The ability to rapidly commercialise new knowledge is essential for competitive advantage in dynamically changing private and public sector environments. Commercialisation is the key to the reinvention of organisations and the basis for the creation of new knowledge-based enterprises.
The program is aimed at professionals from all discipline, industry and functional backgrounds who want to drive innovation, growth and commercialisation outcomes in local and global arenas.
The Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology Commercialisation is available in two flexible delivery modes designed to meet the needs of busy professionals: internally via face-to-face intensive sessions and online .
The Graduate Certificate consists of courses to the value of 12 units including 9 units of core courses and 3 units of electives.

Science and Technology Commercialisation
The study plans given are examples of pathways through this degree for students that commenced their program in 2013 (refer to the program rules). Students that commenced in previous years should refer to the tabs above(referring to years) or consult their Faculty for advice.

Commercialisation programs have many successful graduates in small and large firms as well as public sector organisations in Australia and abroad. Graduates are equipped with the skills to make informed technology management and planning decisions and successfully bring new knowledge to market, thereby starting or developing high technology ventures, creating spin-off companies or alternatively growing new revenue streams for their employers.
