The Master of Nursing Science (Perioperative Nursing) aims to provide graduates with the opportunity to develop advanced specialist skills. Students undertaking this program of study are provided with a rigorous grounding in the essential knowledge and practical skills necessary to safely practice within this clinical practice setting at an advanced level.
The program is structured in two stages:
Stage 1
Students must complete the courses as outlined under the study plan to exit with the Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Perioperative Nursing).
Stage 2
With an additional one year of fulltime study, students can complete this program by Research or Coursework. Refer to the study plan below.
May include essays, case studies, discussion board participation, presentations, poster presentations, critiques, portfolios and exams.
