Geoscience is at the heart of all modern natural resource industries, not only their exploration phase, but also their development and management practices. This program will provide students with a coherent understanding of the areas of science that relate to the Earth's petroleum resources including their nature, origin, distribution, discovery and exploitation. Students will gain the ability to communicate with a diverse array of people and will have an understanding of the geological and technological complexity of the petroleum systems with which they are working.
