Biography/ Background

Ashlyn completed her SACE in 2004 at the Australian Science and Mathematics School before commencing a double degree in Arts and Science at The University of Adelaide. Her major areas of study were in Geography, Geology, and Environmental Geoscience. In 2009 Ashlyn completed her Honours Degree in Environmental Geoscience achieving a first class award. Since then Ashlyn has been employed at Primary Industries and Resources South Australia, and presented her work at the inaugural conference of The Australian Regolith Geoscientists Association held at Arkaroola in early 2010.

Ashlyn has received an Australian Postgraduates Award scholarship to undertake a PhD in 2010 on the regolith and landscape evolution and physical and chemical interfaces within the eastern Eucla Basin- Gawler Ctaon, South Australia.
