Ms Cecilia Moretti
To link to this page, please use the following URL: Biography/ BackgroundCecilia Moretti has an established background in research and evaluation activities focused on the community health and primary health care sectors, as well as working in the non-government sector and in the South Australian Department of Premier and Cabinet. Qualitative research methods are her key area of expertise, however she also brings considerable experience in quantitative methods and data management, analysis and reporting. Prior to joining WISeR, Cecilia was Senior Policy Officer in the Social Inclusion Unit, South Australian Department of Premier and Cabinet, developing the evidence base underpinning the Disability Blueprint. For five years, Cecilia was Research Associate at the Primary Health Care Research and Information Service (PHC RIS), principally working on the Annual Survey of Divisions (ASD) of General Practice. For the final year of her tenure at PHC RIS, Cecilia managed all aspects of the ASD, including data management and reporting functions and communications with the Divisions Funding and Performance section of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. Cecilia has also worked for the South Australian Community Health Research Unit (SACHRU), undertaking evaluations of a variety of community health projects, and for the Health Consumers Alliance of South Australia, conducting metropolitan and regional community consultations and a comprehensive environmental scoping study designed to identify and develop a set of training resources responsive to the needs of consumer/community representatives on boards and committees. With the over ten years’ experience described above, Cecilia brings key skills in administering, collecting, managing, analysing and reporting research and evaluation data, and a well developed understanding of health sector policy and service provision.
