1981: Research Studentship, University of Western Australia

1993: Nominated as an expert panel member by the International Organisation for Pesticide Resistance Management (IOPRM).

1997: Invited to present a paper at Resistance 97 - an international conference on pesticide resistance held at Rothamsted in UK.

1995: Invited to present a paper at the International Symposium on Weed and Crop Resistance to Herbicides held in Cordoba, Spain.

2001: Honorary Fellow of the Indian Society of Weed Science

2002-04: Invited to be a member of the Editorial Board of Weed Research, an international Journal of the European Weed Research Society
