Dr Jane Harford joined the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health (ARCPOH) at the University of Adelaide in early 2003. She has a background in public health, health policy and health economics. Her research interests include the impact of population ageing on oral public health and on the provision of oral health care, strengthening a public health/primary care approach to oral health, the impact of various funding arrangements including government subsidies on oral health service delivery and status, and the role of food policy in oral health. Her roles at the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health include work on the Intergenerational Change in Oral Health project, examining changes in oral health of older South Australians and co-ordinating ARCPOH's contribution to the revised Bachelor of Dental Surgery undergraduate program and the Master of Public Health Program. Jane was the Director of the National Oral Health Promotion Clearinghouse from May 2015 to April 2016 .
