Dr Jennifer Hanisch
Biography/ Background
I am the Acquisitions Services Librarian at the University of Adelaide Library and am located at the Barr Smith Library. I am responsible for the acquisition (by purchase or gift) of all library materials and resources, and the management of the library materials budget.
I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Degree in Science and pursued a career as a medical scientist, later completing my PhD in the Department of Paediatrics at the Adelaide Children's Hospital. I then completed a Graduate Diploma in Information Studies at UniSA which led me to become a librarian.
Before starting at the Barr Smith Library in November 2007 I was Library Manager at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
