1. Extraction and quantification of carotenoids from biological tissues
2. The bioavailability of carotenoids from biological tissues and their effect on absorption of essential micronutrients.
3. The effect of supplementing animal diets with carotenoids to produce enhanced nutrient levels in animal products.
4. Extraction and quantification of inulin and other associated polysaccharides from plant tissues.
5. Effect of non-digestible polysaccharides (inulin) on nutrient bioavailability
