Research Interests
- Extraction and quantification of carotenoids from biological tissues
- The bioavailability of carotenoids from biological tissues and their effect on absorption of essential micronutrients.
- The effect of supplementing animal diets with carotenoids to produce enhanced nutrient levels in animal products.
- Extraction and quantification of inulin and other associated polysaccharides from plant tissues.
