Biography/ Background

Research Librarian (maternity leave contract) for:

Chemistry
Ecology & Evolutionary Biology
Geology & Geophysics
Molecular & Biomedical Science (Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology)

My role is to:

Support the research needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students
Support the teaching and research needs of academic and research staff

I do this through:

Training sessions on use of discipline specific library resources
Research consultations, including advice on research strategies, information sources and techniques for keeping up to date
Identifying and sourcing materials that meet teaching and research needs
Offering subject-specific information skills sessions for lecture or tutorial groups
Assistance and advice on contributing to Adelaide Research and Scholarship.
