Biography/ Background

Md. J. Nine is graduate research student in the field of material science. He works on functional carbon nanomatrials (CNTs, Graphene, and Fullerene), polymers and ceramics for the application in protective coating industry. He is also interested in colloids and surface with versatile application in bio and marine industry.  He is conferred his Master of Engineering degree from Gyeongsang National University, South Korea in 2012 subjected to the Second Phase Brain Korea21 (BK21) Project from 3/2010 to 2/2012. He also received Dean Award (2012) for the 6th Young Pioneer Researchers, 2012, Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. He worked as research assistant in University of Malaya under High Impact Research (HIR) Grant. Currently he is a PhD student in The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, SA 5000. His PhD project involves "Industrial Translation of Graphene for Efficient Coating Application" in Losic Nano Research group ounder the supervision of Prof. Dusan Losic.

Qualifications

  • M.Eng., Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering, Gyeongsang National University, Korea, (March, 2010 - February, 2012).
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Khulna-6204, Bangladesh, (March, 2005 to March, 2009).

  • Adelaide Scholarship International (ASI) -2014 for Higher Degree Program in The University of Adelaide, SA.
  • Dean Award-2012, Award for The 6th Young Pioneer Researchers, Gyeongsang National University, South Korea.
