Biography/ Background

Mike Seyfang joined the University in 2008 as a Social Media Consultant with a passion for Research, Teaching and Learning.

Mike’s consulting work is built on a solid foundation of over 25 years ICT experience, the last eight in senior roles with Microsoft. Notable achievements include the envisioning and conception of the widely acclaimed Microsoft and South Australian Government Innovation Centre and significant contributions to the South Australian Government Electronic Messaging Service (SAGEMS). More recently, a series of engagements with Education.au resulted in significant cultural shift influenced through social media and commercial outcomes from Proof of Concept projects. Mike has a flair and passion for harnessing creativity and innovation for tangible community outcomes.

Bachelor of Science, the University of Adelaide.
