  • Biography/ Background

    Nicole is currently a research associate working within two research fields within the WaterSystems group.

    The currently focus of Nicole's research is the Goyder Institute funded project for the Optimal Water Resource Mix for Metropolitan Adelaide. Nicole is working on Task 4: Household Water Use which is montoring 150 households in Adelaide to enable improvements in a stochastic end-use model.

    Nicole is also still actively involved in the condition assessment of water distribution systems using hydraulic transients. This research continues on from her thesis the topic of which is 'Transient reflection analysis for the diagnosis of Anomalies in Water Distribution Systems'.

    From 2010-2012, Nicole was the Course Co-ordinator and primary lecturer for the subjects Engineering Modelling and Analysis 1A and Water Engineering and Design 2A within the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering at the University of Adelaide.

    2001 - 2004 Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, Autralia.
    Awarded First-Class Honours.

    2001 - 2007 Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Completed part time.
