Biography/ Background

Trained at RAH in 1989.

Completed Bachelor of Nursing at University of South Australia, Underdale

Completed Grad Dip Orth: University of Adelaide

Completed Master of Nursing Science: University of Adelaide

Worked at the RAH for 22 years. The past 8 years in a level 3 position as Clinical Service Co-ordinator.

Now employed full time at the University of Adelaide as Co-ordinator (Master of Nursing Science- stage 1) of:

  • Orthopaedic Nursing
  • Infection Control Nursing
  • Gerontological Nursing
  • Hyperbaric Nursing
  • Stream lead for Acute Health/ Nursing Science
  • Bachelor of Nursing (Post registration) Singapore

 

Interests in VTE prevention, OHS, risk management, pain management in the older person & pressure ulcer prevention.
