Biography/ Background

Dr Babasola Ajiboye's training includes a Bachelor of Agric (Hons.) degree in Soil Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Soil Chemistry, and a Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (CHET), all from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He also had a post-doctoral training as an Industrial Scientist with the Business Development Unit of the Canadian Light Source Inc.

He joined the University of Adelaide/Mosaic Fertilizer Research Centre as a Research Fellow in June 2008 and he is currently working on formulations and evaluations of macro- and micronutrient fertilizers.

  • Solid-state speciation of nutrient elements and contaminants in environmental samples
  • Stable and radio-isotope techniques in agricultural studies
  • Optimizing the quantitation of chemical species in environmental samples
