Biography/ Background

Before commencing her academic career, Susan worked as a commercial litigator, providing research and advice on litigation arising in Australia and abroad in the areas of professional liability, corporate law, equity, trade practices, private international law and contract. Earlier in her career Susan was an Associate and Research Assistant at the Federal Court of Australia.

In 2000 she won a British Chevening Scholarship enabling her to read for an LLM at the University of Cambridge.

Her primary research interests concern issues surrounding private law scholarship and scholars.
