State of South Australia seeks to meet a need for considered analysis and reflection on the major social, economic, cultural and political trends and policy challenges facing South Australia . It brings together a group of respected academic researchers and commentators concerned about ensuring prosperity for all in South Australia .
State of South Australia is written for a wide audience, including students, teachers, researchers, policy- and decision-makers.
The publication of State of South Australia has been possible through the support of the Australian Institute of Social Research and the Don Dunstan Foundation at the University of Adelaide . An updated version will be published every two years.
State of South Australia is edited by Associate Professor John Spoehr, Executive Director, Australian Institute for Social Research, University of Adelaide and is published by Wakefield Press.
