Australian Defence Force
Australian Defence Force Higher Education Advanced Standing Scheme (ADFHEAS Scheme)
The University of Adelaide has in place credit transfer arrangements for Australian Defence Force (ADF) members where maximum credit is granted towards a limited number of Adelaide programs.
A Letter of Understanding (LoU) between the two organisations sets out how the scheme is operated and administered. Credit is awarded on the basis of previously completed study and/or qualification. Through this scheme members can achieve maximum recognition of professional military studies, experience and skills, for studies towards a University of Adelaide degree. Credit effectively shortens the time taken to achieve the qualification.
Who is it for?
The Scheme is for current, past and Reserve ADF members of all ranks, who meet the entry requirements of the University for the undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications on offer.
