Curriculum Development

Quicklinks

Staff Guidelines Homepage

The University has in place formal processes to identify opportunities for collaborative curriculum development when planning new or revised courses/programs.

TAFE SA also has formal processes for identifying opportunities and collaborating in curriculum development.

Key Contacts

Staff should consult the following key contacts for curriculum development and accreditation processes:

TAFE SA
The relevant Senior Project Officer from TAFE SA Network Services, Training Package and Curriculum Unit should be contacted for information relating to collaborative curriculum development.

University of Adelaide
The Program Approval Committee (PAC) is responsible for considering both the academic and resource aspects of major program development. Information regarding curriculum development processes can be found at the PAC Website.

The initial contact should however, be made via the relevant Faculty sponsoring the submission as local approval processes will also operate.

Collaborative Resources

Diversity and Structural Adjustment Fund
The Diversity and Structural Adjustment Fund (Diversity Fund) commenced on 1 January 2008 and subsumed the Collaboration and Structural Reform Fund (CASR).  The Diversity Fund is to promote structural reform by eligible higher education providers that supports greater specialisation among providers, more diversity in the higher education sector and better responsiveness to labour markets operating in the local or national interest.
Staff interested in applying for the Diversity Fund should contact Executive Deans at the University of Adelaide and the Curriculum Managers at TAFE.
