ZEN eChallenge Mentor Guidelines

The following mentor guidelines have been developed to provide an overview of the mentoring process and to assist mentors and teams to manage their relationship effectively:

  1. Mentors have agreed to provide approximately two hours per week of their time, over an eight week period, to assist a ZEN eChallenge team in the preparation of their business plan. Specific time-frames will vary according to mentors' availability and team requirements.
  2. Confidentiality of team information essential to the success of the competition and mentors have agreed to keep team information confidential.
  3. The mentoring scheme will begin when mentors and teams are paired and proceed until the time that business plans are due for judging.
  4. Any difficulties arising from a mentor/team relationship will be resolved by the ZEN eChallenge Organising Committee.
