eChallenge Teams

All eChallenge teams must have between two to six members, and at least one member must be a current tertiary student.

Building an effective team is critical to creating a successful venture. A good team contains members with skills in a variety of areas. For example, a successful start-up might be founded by four diverse individuals: a salesperson, a lawyer, a technologist and a business manager. While there is no perfect size for a team, usually teams have two or more members and include people with skills in both technology and business.

Teams may change over the course of the competition. Sometimes teams split up and at other times new members come on board to fill a role. The eChallenge allows for changes to team composition up until the cut-off date.
