(Ava Wan, Cassandra Wee, Jimmy Wang, Nelson San, Long Nguyen)
Our business concept revolves around developing the ‘next generation’ pillow. Unlike
a regular pillow, it has a built-in ‘alarm clock’ which wakes
the sleeper via weak sound waves emitted by a vibration sheet in the pillow. At
a set time, the waves will be amplified and transmitted directly to the
inner ear, waking the sleeper up with a sound only he or she can hear. This
feature not only relieves bodily stress caused by regular, loud alarm clocks,
but also prevents disturbance to others sleeping nearby.
