Sustainability Governance Committee
The University’s Sustainability Governance Committee will lead the integration of sustainability into all aspects of University activities and operations and focus on reducing the resource footprint and impact on the environment. The Sustainability Governance Committee is a sub-committee of the Vice Chancellor’s Committee.

Terms of Reference
- Govern the development, investment and implementation of University-wide sustainability plan that is consistent and aligned with the broader vision and strategic goals of the University;
- Review the environmental performance of campuses, facilities, institutes, academic/administrative units and controlled entities to ensure that all areas consistently achieve a high standard.
- Promote and facilitate environmental sustainability awareness and behaviour will all staff, students and visitors of the University; and
- Provide key input into the University’s planning and budgeting process with respect to sustainability-related outcomes.
