August 15: Open Day
At Open Day join Eco, the Ecoversity mascot to build a recycled art project, celebrate recycling on campus and reuse discarded items in a fun and creative way. The Ecoversity team will also be providing pedal power to make fruit smoothies for our visitors to the event.

A Generation Rising Up To The Climate Challenge
Power Shift is a series of three extraordinary events in Geelong, Adelaide and Canberra that will inspire, activate and connect thousands of young people to address climate change together. Find out more here.
Power Shift 2010 will empower and train the next generation of climate leaders to achieve positive change. Registrations are open now for young people aged 12 to 29:

June 5: World Environment Day

May 12: Fair Trade and Social Justice Expo
Brought to you by the Student Representative Council and the Fair Trade Action Group. The Expo will run between 10-2pm on the Barr Smith Lawns. ECOS will be selling falafel and promoting Students of Sustainability Conference. See you there!

March 27: Earth Hour
This year Earth Hour is Saturday 27 March at 8.30pm! At the University, we will be switching off all our building lights and lit signage. Register here to be involved and show your commitment to reducing GHG emissions!
March 1: REUSEathon - Recycled Stationery Up for Grabs!
Pick up recycled stationery and office supplies on the Barr Smith Lawns between 11-3pm!
If you have items you would like to donate like folders, plastic sleeves and dividers bring them along and share in the fun!
February 22-25: Meet Eco at O'Week
Come to the Barr Smith Lawns during O'Week to Meet Eco and have your photo taken! The photos will be displayed on Eco's new Facebook where you can tag yourself with him, keep up to date with sustainability events and competitions on campus, ask questions and tell him what you're doing to reduce your resource footprint at Uni.
February 22-23: Green University Conference
Held in Melbourne, the Green University Conference will focus on four key themes; University sustainability strategies and behavioural change, master planning sustainable campuses, embedding ESD into existing and new campus developments and monitoring & measuring sustainability performance.
