How To Apply

Step 1 - Check Your Eligibility

To be selected for this program, your must meet specific entry requirements. Please ensure that you have read and understood these requirements before application.

Step 2 - Complete the Application Form

  1. Fill out the  application form and sign it.
  2. Submit the application form along with a $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
  3. Attach certified copies of relevant academic transcripts and other supporting documentation where applicable.

Step 3 - Submit Application Form

  3. Check that you have met the application deadline

    The application deadline is the final date by which applications will be considered.

    Please note that numbers are strictly limited and places may be filled before the application deadline. PCE recommends submitting your application at the earliest opportunity.

    Once a program is filled, applications will still be processed for consideration in the event that a place becomes available or for future programs.

    Your place is confirmed upon your written acceptance of the University's official offer and receipt of your payment.

 Step 4 - Wait for a Letter Confirming an Interview with Academic Coordinator (TESOL)

After we receive your application, it will be assessed to ensure that it meets the pre-entry requirements for the program.  For successful applicants, the ELC Program Administrator (TESOL) will send you a letter via email, which will include the pre-entry interview task and interview information for submission as part of the application process. Please note that alternative interview arrangements can be made for overseas applicants. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified in writing.

Step 5 - Return the Pre-Interview Task and Attend Interview with Academic Coordinator (TESOL)

The pre-interview task can be returned via post, fax, or email as per details in Step 3.

Step 6 - Wait for a Letter of Offer

Successful applicants will receive an official letter of offer from the University and an enrolment package including the enrolment form and student information booklet. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in writing.

Step 7 - Accept Offer and Forward Payment

To accept your offer: Check that all your personal details and program details are correct and ensure that you have read all of the information in the student information booklet carefully. If you wish to accept the offer, sign the bottom of the letter, complete the enrolment form and send these back via email elc@adelaide.edu.au, or post, with full payment within 2 weeks from the date on the letter. Your enrolment cannot be confirmed until this process is completed.

Students must submit the full program payment before the deadline specified in their Letter of Offer, otherwise the offer will lapse.

Payment can be made through one of the following methods:

    • Visa/Mastercard/Amex
    • Cash
    • Cheque
