Teaching Practice

The major emphasis is on practice teaching, incorporating workshops, lesson observation, lesson delivery and feedback on teaching.

Each trainee teacher will do six hours of supervised practice teaching as follows:

• 1 x 20 minute lessons
• 2 x 30 minute lesson
• 4 x 40 minute lessons
• 2 x 60 minute lessons.

The length of the individual teaching sessions increases as the program progresses. Trainees teach two different levels of learners during the program: elementary and intermediate.
