A Typical Day

The following is a timetable for a typical day of the Full Time Intensive Program:

9.00am - 11.00am	Seminars and workshops on teaching techniques, methodology and language analysis.
11.00am - 11.30am	Break
11.30am - 12.30pm	Supervised lesson planning
12.30pm - 1.30pm	Lunch
1.30pm - 3.30pm	Observation and Practice Teaching
3.30pm - 3.45pm	Break
3.45pm - 4.30pm	Feedback Session
4.30pm - 4.45pm	Administrative matters

Intensiveness of Program

A high level of commitment is necessary, as the program is demanding. Participants must attend 100% of the program, with an absence approved only in case of illness supported by a medical certificate or in other exceptional circumstances. The Certificate IV in TESOL consists of 265 nominal hours which includes contact hours and time required for self study. People considering undertaking the program should ensure that they are free of other commitments during the time of study.
