Janel studied GEAP for 20 weeks before moving to England to continue her Masters degree.

“I liked the GEAP course as soon as I sat in the classroom. I met many new friends from different countries in my class. It's really amazing, as I never expected to make friends with other nationalities and we communicate with each other very well. During class time, I've practised and improved my English a lot.

I chose the University of Adelaide because it's one of the oldest universities in Australia and I prefer to study in a small quiet city rather than in a big noisy city, since I can concentrate on my study. I am attracted by its convenience very much. I don't have to worry about terrible traffic jam everyday on my way to school and, also, I can buy whatever I want in Rundle Mall, which is just near the ELC building.    

When I finish my GEAP I plan to go to England to continue my Master of Medical Science (majoring in Nephrology). The GEAP course has been very useful. I've learnt a great deal of language knowledge. Our teachers teach us in different ways, according to our weaknesses and strengths. Students also need to study by themselves, which is really important.”
