English for Professionals

Tae was already working on a casual basis and decided that taking the English for Professionals course would be a good way to improve both her English and her job prospects.

Tae found the course very useful, especially when she was given the opportunity to build up her public speaking abilities.  She said it was “great to have the opportunity to do presentations in front of people”.

The course also allowed for practice time where Tae could revise what she had learnt.  “My lecturer has his own website with lots of links that allowed me to practice English for different settings”.   

“One of the best parts about the course was the friendships with other students in the class.  Tae made many friends whilst undertaking the English for Professionals course with her fellow students being of Polish, Chilean, Korean, Japanese, French Canadian, Indonesian and Chinese backgrounds. 

“I loved learning English at The University of Adelaide as the city of Adelaide is convenient and an easy place to get around in.  The beach is especially accessible!”
