Yuko Fujino

Yuko decided to study the General English for Academic Purposes (GEAP) to further her job prospects.  "My lecturer in Japan assured me that the University of Adelaide was a well trusted university".

Studying English in a foreign country has always been one of Yuko’s goals. "Study abroad is my dream for a long time."  Studying in Adelaide has allowed Yuko to become friends with lots of people from different countries. "I could make so many friends here. I would never have met so many mixed friends if I hadn’t come here".

“Be confident to speak English”. Yuko’s now feels comfortable with her level of spoken English.  She credits her teacher who was always encouraging her to ask questions if she was unsure of anything and to speak in class. 

Yuko will use her well-developed English skills to apply for hospitality jobs. 

Yuko would recommend living in Adelaide as the beach lifestyle is very enjoyable.  She especially liked the wide open sky and beautiful sunsets.
