Bishop Hall

Bishop Hall is located on the lower ground floor within the Elder Conservatorium of Music. It has seating for approximately 100 people, but as the seats are not fixed it is also an excellent warm up or holding room for large ensembles or choirs. It is also an ideal space for break-out or concurrent sessions during conferences, master classes or demonstrations. It can be booked at the same time as Elder Hall, depending on availability.

Foyer Facilities

The foyer of Elder Hall is equipped with a box office, program stand and large mobile bar. There is a small kitchen area located in the cloakroom with a sink and full size fridge and two 20 Litre urns. Please note that this area is not big enough for food preparation. The foyer also has two large wall display areas and two matching tables.

Recording Booth

There is a fully equipped glass fronted recording booth located at the back of the stalls. It is sound proof and accessible from the foyer of Elder Hall. Both Radio Adelaide and the ABC use it to record concerts. All equipment in this booth is the property of Radio Adelaide. To use the booth or to arrange for an event to be recorded please contact Radio Adelaide on (08) 8303 5000.

Additional Rooms

There is a small artists' room off the side of the stage. There are no other dressing rooms but there are a series of practise and teaching rooms that can be used for this purpose. These rooms must be booked in advance as the Elder Conservatorium of Music has a very busy teaching schedule.
