Fasta Pasta EASIS Scholarship

Fasta Pasta is offering one scholarship to support a student who is undertaking a program of undergraduate study at the University of Adelaide and who has been identified by the University as an Elite Athlete.

The Fasta Pasta EASIS Scholarship is open to any student who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia. The student can either be a commencing or continuing student.

The scholarship offers $2,500 towards the student's education and living costs.

The student shoud be undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student with a study load of at least 50%. The student must be enrolled on each of the census dates to be eligible to receive this scholarship.

Adelaide University Sports Association Scholarships

The Don Stranks, Bob Heddle and Bill Scammell Sports Scholarships

The Adelaide University Sports Association offers up to four scholarships each year. Each scholarship is valued at $2,000, and will be payable mid-year to assist the student with the payment of compulsory fees, textbooks, sporting equipment and other costs associated with studying.

The candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  • be a student of the Univeristy of Adelaide proceeding towards the completion of a degree or diploma
  • be an active financial member of an Adelaide University Sporting Club
  • make a considerable contribution to their chosen University Club sport.

The Sports Association is honoured to dedicate two of these scholarships, one for Australian National Football, the other for Cricket, to the late Professor D Stranks, former Vice-Chancellor of the University, and former Vice-President. He was a keen supporter of the football and cricket clubs.

The remaining Scholarships will be awarded on merit by the Blues Committee. These scholarships are known as the Bob Heddle Sports Scholarships and the Bill Scammell Sport Scholarships. This is in recognition of the many years of service and support given by Bob and Bill. Bob Heddle was the director of the University Health Service on campus from 1964 until 1982. During that time, he was a member of the Sports Association Council. Former Chancellor of the University of Adelaide, Bill Scammell was a great supporter of the University's sporting community.

Fast Twitch Sponsorships

Fast Twitch Training Centre offers two (one female and one male) AUSA members a fully funded 12 week training program at the Fast Twitch High Perfomance Training Centre.

Coopers Sports Managment Award

The Sports Association's primary sponsor, Coopers has a 'Coopers Overall Sporting Achievement Award' to the value of $1000 to an AUSA affliated club member to undertake further studies in Sports Managment.
