Policy responses to a drying climate may save Adelaide's kelp forests
Sean Connell is an ecologist who works on the influences of humans on marine producers and their consumers. This work has applicability to those that manage pollution and extraction because it assesses some of the largest drivers of ecosystem change. To achieve these assessments at scales relevant to human management, past work has reconciled conflicting perspectives across biogeographic boundaries, recovered historical baselines and now forecasts future ecosystems.
