On march 11 2010, the Government of South Australia, in association with the Environment Insitute, presented James Hansen 'After Copenhagen: Looking for Real Solutions'. James Hansen is one of worlds leading scientists on climate issues. Thirty years ago, he created one of the world's first climate models and is sometimes referred to as "father" or "grandfather of global warming". He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, Adjunct Professor at Columbia University and head of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York City.
Dr Hansen is best known for his research in the field of climatology, a watershed testimonial to the US congress in 1988 on global warming and his advocacy to limit the impacts of climate change. To listen to this event use the links below.
