Should we consider Nuclear Power as a response to climate change?

The Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES), Sustainable Populations Australia (SPA) and The Zero Carbon Network presented the debate, "Should we consider Nuclear Power as a response to climate change?"  on Friday 5 February.

For the Affirmative:

Professor Barry Brook, Sir Hubert Wilkins Chair of Climate Change, University of Adelaide, and author of the blog Brave New Climate

Tom Blees, President, Science Council for Global Initiatives and author of the book "Prescription for the Planet."

For the Negative:

Dr Helen Caldicott, President, Beyond Nuclear

Dr Mark Diesendorf, Deputy Director, Institute of Environmental Studies, University of New South Wales".

The Debate was held in the Horace Lamb Lecture Theatre at the University of Adelaide.
