Power Shift Adelaide 2010

31 July to 1 August

Power Shift 2010 was a youth climate summit that aimed to inspire, educate, empower and mobilise young people to take action on climate change! It brought together hundreds of young people to learn about climate science and solutions, to take action in their communities, and show leaders that young people demand a safe climate future.  Power Shift 2010 Adelaide was a part conference, part festival, part training and part celebration of the power of young people to change the world!

Participants heard from inspiring speakers, participated in interactive workshops, met like-minded young people and planned how to create positive social change in communities around South Australia.  Power Shift Adelaide was coordinated by the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and held at the University of Adelaide.
