Postgraduate Forums 2011

The Environment Institute is seeking enthusiastic postgraduate students who are interested in coordinating a Postgraduate Forum in 2011.

Themes for the new programme of Postgraduate Forums can be relevant to any of the seven research areas within the Environment Institute: evolutionary biology and biodiversity, ancient DNA, energy technology, water research, landscape futures, marine biology and climate change research.

Forums are held quarterly and include budgets to cover fieldtrip and catering expenses and assistance for the student or group of students coordinating the event.

Fieldtrip suggestions are:
• Adelaide Zoo Envirodome
• Port Stanvac Desalination Plant
• Snowtown Windfarm project on the Barunga and Hammock Ranges
• Adelaide Brighton Cement
• Torrens Islands Power Stations

Click on the link below to view summaries and photos from forums held in 2010.  Information on past forums organised by WRC during 2005-2008 can be found here.
