NRM Partnerships

Key contacts are being built through engagement withstate NRM and environment agencies, particularly the NRM Research Alliance and NRM Council, as well as regional NRM boards, general managers and technical staff. The Landscape Futures Program will facilitate coordinated applications for collaborative projects in Landscape Science across all relevant disciplines and agencies. Areas of particular interest for future research include:

• integrated energy, carbon, water, nutrient, and financial balance models
• multi-criteria optimisation
• vulnerability analysis
• visualisation to communicate alternative management scenarios.
