Travel Support

The Environment Institute has a travel support program for members of each of its constituent research Centres and Programs for travel that contributes to the objectives of the Institute:

• Build profile and linkages with key funding agencies and other major research centres and institutes.
• Seek funding for grant programs, particularly large grants that involve more than one individual from the Institute.

The full costs of travel can be sought for travel within Australia. The lowest cost for airfares should be sought through the University's new travel system. Only the costs directly relating to the travel will be reimbursed. Airfares and accommodation will be refunded through a journal transfer to the appropriate School. Incidentals will be reimbursed on presentation of receipts.

Subject to annual budget limits, up to 50 per cent of the travel costs for international travel for academics and for international visitors to travel to Adelaide University will be available where this travel directly supports the objectives of the travel fund. Funding is not available to support travel to conferences.
