About the Centre
The Water Research Centre is one of three research-intensive centres within the Environment Institute. The Centre is deliberately trans-disciplinary and brings together hydrologists, ecologists, biochemists, engineers, mathematical modellers and social scientists to undertake research of national and international significance.

Governance
WRC is overseen by Associate Professor Justin Brookes and an Executive Committee of three staff who, together, are responsible for developing and coordinating new initiatives including collaborative research grants, hosting visiting research scientists and facilitating communication within and outside the Centre.
