In the Water Research Centre we take a whole of catchment approach to freshwater ecology, our researchers have the expertise to study ecology of ecosystems, restoration and management, water quality and hydrology, informatics and modelling.

Collaborators and Supporters
The Water Ecology group collaborates with a large number of research institutions including SA Water, SARDI Aquatic Sciences, CSIRO, local and federal government agencies and is closely engaged with Water Quality Research Australia. The group also has strong ties to Flinders University, Griffith University, The University of California, The University of Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, The Chinese Academy of Science of Beijing, Waikato University of New Zealand and the Water Technology Centre in Germany.
