This theme of Water quality and Treatment incorporates innovative and advanced technology for the treatment of water and wastewater. Our researchers use both chemical and biological processes. A particular focus at the moment is the use of microalgae as biofules, passive photocatalytic technologies and the use of fungi to purify waste water from wineries and other waste water sources.
