New Changes to Plant Health Legislation in South Australia 2009On August 1st, 2009 the Plant Health Act came into force. Under the Act, the University is required to register as an importer, and provide PIRSA with general information on plant movement to and from interstate. The movement of quaratine risk materials like phylloxera and fruit from fruit fly regions will require a permit.
